This lovely clock has been made with Purple Heart wood and electrum resin with added black paste to make this gorgeous dark silver colour

the tear drop is made from a piece of heavily spalted birch and the neck is a type of mahogany

once hung on the wall there barely noticeable

Slowly air drying oak retains a lot more of its colour than kiln drying does

the clock numbers I milled out then filled with magenta resin
